Ni indwara ifata umuntu ikamutera gusinzira birengeje ibisanzwe, ariko atari ugusinzira ibitotsi bya nijoro, ahubwo akaguma yisinziriraho ku manywa kandi atari uko yaraye ataryamye.

Indwara y’igicuri yo umuntu ata ubwenge rwose, kandi n’aho wagerageza kumubyutsa ntabyuka mu gihe kuzahara kutaratambuka. Naho ku ndwara ya narcolepsie iyo umuntu agukanguye ako kanya uhita ukanguka, ukabyuka.

Mbese umuntu ashobora kumara igihe kingana iki muri ibyo bitotsi bya narcolepsie? Biratandukana ku bantu?

Oya. Ni ukuvuga ko iyi ntawumukanguye, ashobora gusinzira n’amasaha 2 akagera. Ariko kuri iyi ndwara, iyo umukanguye ntabwo aherayo. Ahita akanguka rwose. Ni nk’aho ari agatotsi kari kamwibye. Ahita abyuka, ntagorana.

Uwasinziriye kubwa ‘narcolepsie’ arakanguka, kandi ukabona ko ari nk’umuntu utari usinziriye? Cyangwa akanguka nk’uvuye kure?

Iyi ndwara ikibazo gihari ntabwo ivurwa ngo ikire. Ni ukuvuga ko umuntu uyirwaye agomba gufata imiti ubuzima bwe bwose. Iyo azi ko ahantu ari bujye, cyangwa se ari bujye mu nama, kwigisha, kwiga, mu materaniro,…ni byiza ko agenda yafashe umuti, kuko ntashobora kumenya ngo aragira ikibazo ryari. Kandi ikibazo kimufashe ntashobora kubirwanya ngo areke gusinzira : n’ubwo nyine ari ikibazo, ariko iyo bimufashe arasinzira nta kabuza.

Mbese umuntu usinziriye gutya, ntashobora kuba yagendanirako (agapfa) ?

Oya. Iyo umuntu asinziriye akagendanirako (agapfa), ntaba yishwe n’ibitotsi, aba yishwe n’ikindi kintu yari arwaye. Urugero : ari nk’umuntu ufite indwara y’umutima bishobora kubaho ugahagarara nko mu ijoro aryamye, ugasanga yapfuye atigeze asambagurika. Ariko ku by’ibitotsi, ntabwo umuntu yasinzira ngo bimuviremo urupfu mu gihe nta kindi kintu yari arwaye ! Ibyo ntibyashoboka.
